Our next stop was the island of Pariti. Here is the old church.
Building materials old and new.
Pariti is now famous for the discovery of amazing pottery. The small museum contains many fine pieces.
The ancient tradition was to smash the pottery at the completion of the ceremony, so there are almost no intact pieces.
